These terms explain payments, timelines, hosting, domains, support, ownership, revisions, and client responsibilities.

These Terms of Service outline the agreement between SiteSpring and the client purchasing website services. By purchasing any service, the client agrees to the terms listed below.

1. Overview

SiteSpring provides website design, development, hosting, domain management, and support services for local businesses. Services are offered through structured tiers and optional support plans.

All services are provided with the goal of delivering a clean, functional website that represents the client's business professionally.

2. Services Provided

SiteSpring offers template-based website builds, fully custom website builds, domain setup and management, website hosting, monthly support and maintenance, and one-time edits or update services.

All services are scoped based on the selected tier and any additional agreed-upon customization.

3. Pricing and Payments

All pricing is listed as starting rates and may increase based on customization or additional requests.

  • 50% deposit before work begins
  • 50% remaining balance before the site is launched
  • Work will not begin until the deposit is received
  • The final website will not be made live until the remaining balance is paid in full

Payments may be made through supported methods such as Cash App, PayPal, or cash.

4. Delivery Timeline

Most projects are completed within 1 to 2 weeks. Timelines may vary depending on the scope of work, responsiveness of the client, and requested revisions.

Delays caused by lack of communication or missing information from the client may extend the delivery timeline.

5. Templates and Customization

Template-based websites are built using pre-designed structures that are customized for the client. Basic customization such as business name, contact information, services, and branding is included in the base price.

Additional customization beyond the original template structure may result in increased pricing. SiteSpring reserves the right to determine what constitutes basic customization versus additional work.

6. Hosting and Domains

All websites are hosted and managed by SiteSpring.

  • Hosting may be included with an active monthly support plan
  • Hosting may be billed separately at $5 per month if no support plan is active
  • If a client does not already own a domain, SiteSpring will purchase and manage the domain on behalf of the client
  • If a client already owns a domain, SiteSpring will assist with connecting and configuring it

Domain costs are included as part of a monthly fee and are not billed separately. The monthly domain fee may vary depending on the domain used.

7. Support Plans

Monthly support plans are optional but recommended.

  • Basic support at $10 per month
  • Standard support at $25 per month
  • Pro support at $50 per month

Support plans include hosting and allow for ongoing updates and assistance. Clients on support plans may request unlimited small edits. Larger changes or structural updates may be quoted separately.

8. One-Time Edits

Clients who do not subscribe to a support plan may request one-time edits. Small edits typically range from $5 to $20. Larger section updates typically range from $20 to $50. Edit bundles may be offered at discounted rates.

9. Payment Failure and Site Suspension

If a client fails to pay for hosting, domain, or support services, a 7-day grace period is provided. After the grace period, the website may be temporarily taken offline until payment is resolved.

Once payment is completed, the site may be restored.

10. Ownership and Source Code

Template-based websites are fully managed by SiteSpring. Clients do not receive access to the source code for template builds.

Custom-built websites may be eligible for source code access after a minimum of 120 consecutive days of active payment with a support plan. SiteSpring reserves the right to deny source code access if terms are not met.

11. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing accurate business information, responding in a timely manner during the build process, and reviewing the site before final approval.

SiteSpring is not responsible for delays caused by missing or incorrect client information.

12. Revisions and Approval

Reasonable revisions are included during the build process. Once the client approves the final version and the site is launched, further changes are considered updates and may fall under support or edit pricing.

13. Cancellations and Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun. If a project is canceled before completion, any work already completed may be billed accordingly.

Refunds are not guaranteed and are handled on a case-by-case basis.

14. Liability

SiteSpring is not responsible for business losses resulting from website performance, third-party service issues, client misuse, or unauthorized modification of the site.

All services are provided "as is" without guarantees of specific business outcomes.

15. Modifications to Terms

SiteSpring reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Clients will be subject to the terms in effect at the time of their agreement.
